This Privacy Policy explains what information CineStream collects, how it is used and the choices you have. It covers the website at www.cinestreamshd.site and the CineStream Android app. By using them you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
On the website
- No account or sign-up. We do not ask for your name or email to browse.
- My List. Titles you save are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not receive them.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes IP address, browser type and request details to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep it secure.
- Contact messages. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send.
In the app
- Account details. If you create an account: name, email address and sign-in method. You can also use a guest account that is not saved yet.
- Device identifier. Used to apply the one-time free trial per device and to keep one active login per account.
- Activity. Plan status, coins and daily check-in streak, watch history, My List and download history, so that features work and sync.
- Support and payments. Tickets, feedback, and the transaction details you submit for manual payment verification.
- Advertising data. If you choose to watch rewarded ads, our ad partners may process advertising identifiers as described in their own policies.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the website and the app.
- To manage accounts, plans, coins and rewards, and to verify payments.
- To respond to support requests and legal notices.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and multiple free trials on the same device.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers and third parties
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the website.
- Google Firebase provides authentication and database services for the app.
- TMDB supplies movie and series data. Requests go through our server, so TMDB does not receive your personal details from this website.
- YouTube serves embedded trailers (privacy-enhanced mode). Playing a trailer is subject to YouTube's own terms and privacy policy.
- Advertising partners may serve rewarded ads inside the app.
Cookies and local storage
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage only to remember your My List. Our security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site. Embedded YouTube trailers may set their own cookies when played.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. App account data is kept while your account is active and removed or anonymised after a verified deletion request, except where we must keep records for legal or fraud-prevention reasons.
Security
We use industry-standard protections including HTTPS and access-controlled databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Clear your browser data to remove your My List from the website.
- Request access, correction or deletion of your app data by emailing [email protected] from your account email with the subject "Data request".
- Limit ad personalisation in your device's Android settings.
Children's privacy
CineStream is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
Our providers operate globally, so information may be processed in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
